Here's an update of what I have been up to. Well, I got the job at the adult shop! Woot! It was my 2nd day today. It's been great fun. A LOT of sitting around is required (but there is pretty much always something to do). I've spent the last two days getting aquainted with the store, learning about products (teehee) and finding my way around porn.

Time for another update. I am currently enjoying my first Gin and Tonic as made by Kellie's mum, whilst trying to do an assignment that I don't want to. I've got a NZ bank account now, which is quite exciting and I now have a job. Yes, you are looking at a new Video Expo worker. Heh heh. It'll be nice to have a full time job, a bit of cash and no more sharehousing. No doubt I will be broker than before but it'll be nice not to rely on Centrelink. And no more selling linen! How exciting! A new range of customers. Hurrah!

I start training for work on Monday. Yessss. That'll be exciting. Stressful, but great. It was good hearing from fam and friends on my birthday. I miss you all but things are well here. I'm being well looked after. I went to a shop yesterday and bought a crapload ($4) of novelty candy. Holy crap I love sherbet straws.

Well, not much to say other than I'm probably going to get embarassingly drunk at Kellie's parents house tomorrow. Yessss.

Hello family and friends!

Just letting you know that I have created a blog in which you can read and comment on my adventures. It is my birthday in 3 days and a sense of dread has washed over me. I'm aware that I'll be spending it with Kellie (which is fantastic), but also fully aware of the fact that it will be with none of my friends and/or family. Also, I have no plans for it, so it will probably involve me sitting in front of the tv eating chips. Oh well.

I still haven't sorted out my phone over here - but promise to shortly. Nothing uber exciting is happening on this front. I'm job hunting, relaxing and enjoying the lovely weather. It's strange. It doesn't get dark here until after 9pm at night. Weird. Also, I'm 3 hours ahead of you guys in time. I'm living the future, babies! I'm incredibly excited about Kellie and my apartment (which we will get in a few weeks - when we have jobs!), as it will be close to everything. I'm terrified about living in a city, but hopefully will cope. Kellie's drove me to a few beaches yesterday and woaha wooah, they were beautiful. The water is an amazing aqua colour. Very lovely.

So, not too much to detail now but keep in contact. I will update here a freakish amount no doubt!
